Expand allCollapse allDay 1: KAMPALA-FORT PORTAL -KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel by our guide and will take a guided walk in the crater lakes & Amabeere –breasts” area of the Kibale National Park. Tour the Nyakasura area to view the “breasts” of the prehistoric princess in the Chwezi Kingdom that were cut off and later grew into a scenic rock that continually drips with ‘milk ‘; you will visit a number of hills around this area. Climbing up the hills will reward you with breath taking views of the Mountain Rwenzori ranges.
After lunch, you will have a walk around the craters which will give views of the amazing and stunning location overlooking a dramatic Crater Lake and the fabled “Mountains of the Moon”.
Drive to Kibale National Park which is home to over 1000 chimpanzees including the black and white colobus monkey, grey cheeked Mangabey and red-tailed monkey. You will spend the night within the forest surrounded by nature and its sounds. Dinner will be at the lodge where you will be staying. Rest early in order to prepare for the Chimpanzee Trek in the luscious Kibaale Forest the following day.

Day 2 : KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Start the day with an early breakfast and thereafter drive to headquarters of Kibale National Park where you will meet your guide and be briefed before you start the Chimpanzee tracking. Here you will be allowed to spend some time with these mesmerizing creatures, as you observe them swing from one tree to another, feed, play around or progress steadily on the ground right in front of you.
Return to your place of accommodation after the grueling trekking activity then relax at the lodge.

DAY 3: DEPARTURE
Wake up to the sound of the chirps of birds and other primates, have breakfast and thereafter proceed at leisure back to Kampala or a place or hotel of choice where your guide shall drop you off and you wait to be transferred to your next destination.
